Information NocturneL accesses

NocturneL accesses only the audio files and folders that you explicitly choose through Android’s system folder picker. It reads local audio metadata and artwork from that user-selected folder to build and display your library. It also stores your selected folder permission, local catalog, playlists, listening history, favourites, playback state, and app settings on your device.

NocturneL does not collect personal or sensitive user data. It does not share, sell, upload, or transmit your data. The app has no advertising, analytics, telemetry, remote crash reporting, user accounts, or internet permission.

Google Play processes the purchase separately. NocturneL does not receive or process your Play account or payment details.

Storage, retention, and deletion

App data is retained locally until you clear it using NocturneL or Android settings, remove exported files yourself, or uninstall the app. You can delete listening history and counts in Settings. Uninstalling removes NocturneL’s private app data; files that you explicitly exported remain where you saved them.

Android cloud backup is disabled. Playlist export and import provides user-controlled portability without sending data to the developer.

Children

NocturneL is intended for a general audience aged 13 and older and is not directed to children under 13.

Policy changes

If NocturneL’s data practices change, this policy and the Google Play Data safety declaration will be updated before the changed app is released.
