Library and search
Browse albums and artists, search locally, change views, and manage library scans.
Browse albums
Open LIB to see the local album collection. Select an album to view its artist, year, play count, and tracks.
Use VIEW: GRID or VIEW: FLOW to switch between the album grid and cover-flow presentation. In FLOW, swipe through covers and select the focused album to open it.
Use SORT to cycle through:
- ARTIST — artist, then album title
- TITLE — album title
- YEAR — release year
- MOST PLAYED — albums with higher qualified play counts first
The chosen view and sort mode persist between sessions.
Use album actions
An album provides PLAY, SHUFFLE, and ADD QUEUE actions. Individual tracks can play immediately, join the upcoming queue, or be marked as favorites. The album favorite control and play count appear with its metadata.
Choose SET COVER to select a replacement image with Android’s document picker. The selected cover takes priority over embedded and folder artwork.
Browse artists and search
Open ART to browse artists and their album counts. Select an artist to see their albums.
Open SEA and enter text in SEARCH LOCAL LIBRARY. Matches are grouped under ALBUMS, ARTISTS, and TRACKS. Select an album or artist to open it; select a track to play it. Track results also provide favorite and add-to-queue actions.
Rescan or change the source
In SET, choose RESCAN LIBRARY after adding, removing, or retagging files. Progress appears while NocturneL discovers and indexes files; CANCEL preserves the previous completed catalog.
If Android reports that folder access was lost, choose the folder again. CHANGE MUSIC FOLDER asks for confirmation when the source differs. Confirming clears favorites, listening history, play counts, and resume state because those identities belong to the old library. Cancelling leaves the current source unchanged.
