Favorites and listening activity
Understand favorites, qualified play counts, local history, and clearing controls.
Favorites
Use the star beside an album or track to change its favorites state. Favorite controls appear in the library, album details, search results, and Now Playing. Favorites are stored locally and remain available after a rescan of the same library.
Play counts and history
NocturneL records a qualified play after enough of a track has played, then updates track and album play counts. Counts appear beside tracks and albums and drive the library’s MOST PLAYED sort mode.
Qualified-play history is kept locally for activity tracking and counting. The current release does not provide a separate screen for browsing history or recent tracks; the visible user-facing results are favorites, counts, and Most Played ordering.
Clear listening activity
In SET, choose CLEAR HISTORY + COUNTS, review the warning, and select CONFIRM CLEAR. This removes qualified-play history and resets counts. Favorites and resume state are preserved by this action.
Changing to a different music folder has a broader confirmation: it clears favorites, history, counts, and resume state because the library identity changes.
